With spring just around the corner, the City of Bedford would like to remind their residents of a couple of very important ordinances: **Any grass or weeds 7″ or higher are in violation of the Bedford Code of Ordinance, Chapter 50 (Nuisances) and MUST BE MOWED/TRIMMED. **City Ordinance 135.03 makes it unlawful to put debris, including GRASS CLIPPING or LEAVES, on city streets and alleys. Ordinance 135.08 prohibits burning trash, leaves or any other combustible material on streets or alleys.
